This series of moody floral graphics was created for the POOL Aoyama which was a Japanese retail concept conceived by Hiroshi Fujiawara located in Tokyo. For a season, the store was turned into a floral shop, and participating brands were asked to design products around floral motifs. To create our designs, my team and I went to a local floral shop and purchased a variety of fresh flowers. We photographed them individually using a snoot and carefully masked out each flower to give the illusion that they were growing around the Stüssy logo. The initial floral design was later developed into a larger apparel collection.
