Stussy 30th Anniversary Recap, Tokyo JP

On December 3rd, 2010, Stussy culminated the 30th anniversary celebrations with an event at the famed ageHa nightclub in Tokyo, Japan. I had the pleasure of attending this 6 hour event. It was definitely one of the raddest parties this year. The Japanese sure know how to do it up. About 4,000 Stussy heads gathered to hear the sounds of Force of Nature, Masterpiece Sound, The King of Diggin’ AKA DJ Muro, Roger Yamaha, Yoon, Nitro Microphone Underground, the stylish Fraser Cooke and many more.  Filled with pole dancers, an outdoor pool, authentic Jamaican chicken, projections and a room for female DJ’s only, the party went until 6am the next morning.  Thanks to everybody involved for a great event!!!

Stussy X Hello Kitty – 30th Collaboration

This project was fun to work on as it reminded me of my mom and sister who love Hello Kitty.

Instead of focusing on the usual street, art and sports for collaboration, Stussy  turned to the world’s favorite cat, Hello Kitty for the latest XXX collection. The collection is sure to get attention from girls and parents who want to make their kids look the coolest in the playground. Girls and children’s t-shirts are have been rendered in various designs that blend the best of both worlds (that of street and play!). Other interesting items include the baby bibs, accessories and cases. Expect these to be hitting the stores from this Saturday, July 3rd and Stussy online stores on Friday, July 9th. via: Stussy Japan
