This Mural was commissioned by SA Studios for Pepsi on the famed De La Barracuda wall. Artist Jorge Oswaldo paid homage to historic Pepsi-Cola logos by deconstructing them and rearranging them to create a subtle white backdrop. The foreground which resembles half of a “globe” centers around a more exuberant Pepsi Brand. With clusters of shapes, explosions, fizz and pop it fuses a classical Jorge style arrangement with the vibrant energy of a newer Pepsi generation. Coca-Cola x Pepsi-Cola

Here’s a repeat pattern of two of my favorite soda brands. These two soda mega giants paved the way and continue to reinvent the way we consume sugar and water. Funny how the original logos resemble one another. Even crazier how Pepsi has radically changed its logo over the years while Coca-Cola has stayed relatively true to its original design. I admire both brands for different reasons, but the best part is the longest ongoing battle for the best tasting beverage.
