Jorge Oswaldo x Pepsi Party Video

This colorful mural was commissioned by SAStudios for Pepsi on the famed De La Barracuda wall. Artist Jorge Oswaldo wanted to pay homage to the historic Pepsi-Cola legacy by deconstructing their history and recontextualizing it into something more modern. The result is a subtle white backdrop completely designed of vintage Pepsi logos. The foreground which resembles half of a “globe” centers around a more exuberant current Pepsi Brand. The current 2012 Pepsi logo can be seen throughout the globe. With clusters of shapes, explosions, fizz and pop the mural fuses a classic Oswaldo style arrangement with the vibrant energy of the #livefornow Pepsi movement.

Here are some pics from the party at the  De La Barracuda space for JORGE OSWALDO x PEPSI. The event was super rad, tons of people came out to support, and I got a chance to flex my signature muscles. I’m usually not the guy who loves to be in the spotlight, but I had a great time and I feel I can get used to doing these kinds of events more often. :)

London’s largest mural by Agents of Change

With the sun shining and scaffolding removed, wraps have come off London’s largest graffiti mural, covering two sides of a six-storey building in King’s Cross. Members of the Agents of Change crew with London based Remi/Rough, Edinburgh’s Steve More, LX.One from Paris, LA-basedAugustine Kofie, and David Shillinglaw created this colourful geometrical artwork using 160 litres of spray paint.

Looking forward to checking this out later in the summer.
