For this brand-identity series, I wanted to explore the conceptual idea that brands make up a large part of who we are as individuals.
Subjects were interviewed about which brands they most identified with and those that told the story of their lives. Interwoven are brand logos which create a seamless “brand portrait” of each subject.
Each 48”x48” canvass was primed ultra smooth using 6 coats of gesso.
The portraits are painted using high-grade automotive paint on a canvas and are finished with a clear candy coat.
